Powered by community stories, dedications, and celebration, Light the Hoan turns Milwaukee’s skyline into a living tribute—and a reminder that inspiration shines brightest when we do it together.

Bridging the Community Together
Light the Hoan hosts an annual intern challenge uniting 500+ interns across 16+ WI-based companies to compete by showcasing their ideas for the bridge’s lights.
Creating Awareness
Light the Hoan raises the profile of hundreds of nonprofit organizations, uplifting their mission by shining in their colors and sharing their stories.
Providing Unique Experiences
Code the Hoan is a STEAM program empowering students in grades 5–8 by educating around how technology, engineering, and art come together to illuminate our city.
