Day 4 of Crash Responder Safety Week. Today, I’ll be lit in orange to honor our county and local highway departments/DOT first responders.

Wisconsin has more than 115,000 miles of public roads, from interstate freeways to county, city, and village roadways. These roads are maintained by our county and local highway departments. For the most part, their work is conducted in challenging traffic and weather conditions. “Safety Starts with You – Move Over or Slow Down!”
