This week, Milwaukee is mourning the loss of Marquette University President Michael Lovell, whose impact in the Marquette and Milwaukee communities is far-reaching and long-lasting. Characterized by his leadership and humility, President Lovell embodied service and a collaborative spirit. Following a three-year battle with sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, President Lovell’s loss will be deeply felt as Milwaukee grieves with his family, the Marquette community, and all who knew and loved him.

In honor of President Lovell’s life and legacy, we will light up  in gold/yellow.
