Join Light the Hoan, MKE Yoga Social, FEAR/Social X and City Limits Run Club for Lit From Within — a waterfront celebration of movement, music, wellness and light benefiting Light the Hoan.

Whether you want to Chase the DJ along Milwaukee’s waterfront, take a glow yoga class, enjoy local wellness experiences, or simply grab a drink and watch the Hoan dance, there’s a way for everyone to be part of the night.

The evening kicks off at Light the Hoan with our Glow Village featuring:
Then choose your adventure: Chase the DJ or stay and flow.
Light up and hit the waterfront with FEAR/Social X + City Limits Run Club for a fun, approximately 2–3 mile community run/walk. All paces are welcome.
This isn’t your traditional run.
Follow the music as illuminated Jeeps help lead the way and the Hoan Bridge dances overhead to the run soundtrack.
Along the route, expect:
Runners will travel from Light the Hoan toward the Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse, turn around and continue to the finish at Boone & Crockett/The Cooperage.
IMPORTANT: The run does NOT finish back at Light the Hoan. HAVE YOUR ID READY
Not running? Stay at Light the Hoan for an outdoor Glow Yoga experience with MKE Yoga Social while the runners Chase the DJ.
Yoga is Pay What You Can, with proceeds supporting Light the Hoan and community wellness programming.
After class, make the short walk to Boone & Crockett/The Cooperage and join everyone for the Afterglow.

Write them a message. Clip it to the wall. Add your light to the hundreds of others glowing throughout the evening.
Come hungry — there will be options throughout the night.
Before the run at Light the Hoan: snack mix, charcuterie, matcha from Vendetta, tea samples from Wantable Café and hydration.
At the finish: bottled water + a small bite from Sorella.
At Boone: taco truck + drinks available for purchase. Boone will also feature a special drink with $1 from every purchase benefiting Light the Hoan.
BRING YOUR ID.
The evening finishes at Boone & Crockett/The Cooperage. ID is required to enter Boone, so runners, yogis and attendees planning to join us afterward should bring theirs.
Parking: The Harbor District/Walker’s Point may be busy Thursday evening. Please allow extra time for parking.
Rideshare + carpooling are encouraged. Uber/Lyft is a great option, especially if you plan to stay for drinks and the light shows.
Start and finish are close. Boone & Crockett/The Cooperage is just a short walk from Light the Hoan, making it easy to walk back toward your vehicle after the event.
What to wear: Come comfortable and ready to move. Bright, neon, reflective and glowing attire is highly encouraged!
Running/walking? All participants must complete the required FEAR waiver.
Yoga? Glow Yoga and restorative sessions require separate registration through MKE Yoga Social.

Lit From Within is a fundraiser for Light the Hoan.
The event is free to attend, with opportunities throughout the evening to support our mission through yoga, raffle tickets, interactive play, donations and participating purchases.
Every contribution helps Light the Hoan continue using Milwaukee’s iconic bridge as a platform for connection, innovation and community.
